On Wednesday, I attended an English class. The topic of the class was “A 3D-printed Prosthetic Hand.” The teacher played a video. The content of the video was about a physically challenged girl who lost her arms and legs. She uses prosthetic limbs to help her walk and hold objects. There is a hook on one of her prosthetic arms that allows her to grip items she wants, which is triggered by flexing her arm.

Her mother hopes that the girl can fend for herself in the future. The 3D-printed prosthetic hand and leg help her handle daily tasks. The girl said she didn’t need anyone’s help and that she could live a normal life, just like other people.

After watching this video, I feel so lucky to have normal arms and legs. Although I’m stuck in a difficult job right now, I believe I can have the courage, like this girl, to overcome all challenges.
