In the past, there was a memory I often wished I could go back to. When I was in junior high school, I had a subtle romantic connection with a classmate. But back then, my mind was completely focused on doing well in school and getting good grades. Even though we had feelings for each other, I never thought about confessing to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When it was time to take the senior high school entrance exam, I did well and got admitted to a school in Taichung. As a result, she asked me for the registration brochure for that school. We agreed to meet on a certain day in the school’s meeting room. But at that time, I had no understanding of how to express my feelings, nor the motivation to do so. I didn\u2019t even set a specific time to meet her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the day of the meeting, I went to the school\u2019s meeting room, but of course, she didn\u2019t show up. The first reason was that we never set a clear time. So even though I was there, I had no idea if she had already come and left, or hadn\u2019t arrived yet. And then, I just left, without trying to contact her or asking classmates how I could reach her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Looking back, this is something I regret. Even if I had confessed my feelings at the time, we might not have had a long-lasting relationship\u2014after all, I used to have the wrong attitude toward myself and toward love. I truly hope she is living a happy life now, and I have no regrets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
